I'm Murray Hxxxxx (you don't need to know that, because if you're here, you want to hear about the band, not about the Consulate, and if you're here about the Consulate, I'm not that Murray Hewitt - I'm not managing a band out of my office; that would be disrespectful to our nation! - hold on a moment - Yes, Greg, I'm on it, I'll fax those papers to the minister, but I'm trying to send something, all right?)

Anyhow - This is the official site for the band, Flight Of the Conchords, so please drop us a note letting us know if you'd like to see a gig, buy a CD, book the band for a show or sign them to a huge record deal. Please?

They're really hugely talented, not just a couple of cool-looking idiots, honestly - well, maybe - no, they're terrific, and you should join our fan list. And come to the shows. And buy a t-shirt. Or two t-shirts, because they make excellent gifts. Or maybe, if you're somebody famous reading this, you could tell me where to send a demo, or I could even drive it over and we'll sign a deal right away. Wouldn't that be great? It would, really. Oh, please. It would, just give me, I mean, them, a chance. Not only for ME, but for New Zealand itself!

As for the journal title, I asked a subcontractor to set up this journal for me, and frankly, I don't think he took it seriously. I paid him in genuine FotC merchandise, and this is the service I get?!?

I am neither Murray nor Pawnshop Dave from the HBO series Flight of the Conchords, nor do I own the characters in any way. This LJ is for roleplaying only. I strongly suggest you go out and watch the series or buy the dvds and support the real actors and writers. I don't get a dime from promoting it, but they rock the party hard.
